A Righteous Judge 의로우신 재판관

God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses his wrath every day.

하나님은 의로우신 재판장이심이여 매일 분노하시는 하나님이시로다 (7:11)

하나님은 사랑의 하나님이시라는 것을 강조하다보니, 공의로우신 하나님의 성품에 대해서는 간과하기 쉽습니다. 하나님은 의로우시며 정의로운 분이십니다. 사람이 회개하지 아니하면 그가 그의 칼을 가시며, 그의 활을 이미 당기어 예비하셨다는(If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow) 경고의 말씀을 12절에서 하고 있습니다. 의로우신 하나님은 사람의 마음과 양심을 감찰하는 분이십니다(O righteous God, who searches minds and hearts, 9절).

나는 나의 방패는 마음이 정직한 자를 구원하시는 하나님께 있다(My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart, 10절)고 고백하며 의로우신 하나님을 기다리는 쪽인지, 아니면 회개해야 할 부분을 미루고 있는지요? 나의 양심을 감찰하시는 하나님 앞에서 더욱 정직하며 주를 경외하는 삶에 힘쓰고 적용할 것을 찾아봅시다.

God, You are a just judge. When You search my mind and heart, I feel so ashamed of my life. I confess my sins to You. Please forgive my sins and help me to stop sinning. I want to hate sins and be away from them. In Christ's name I pray. Amen.
