Like My Friend 내 친구처럼(출애굽기 33장 11절)

Today's Verse

The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent. (Exodus 33:11)

사람이 자기의 친구와 이야기함 같이 여호와께서는 모세와 대면하여 말씀하시며 모세는 진으로 돌아오나 눈의 아들 젊은 수종자 여호수아는 회막을 떠나지 아니하니라 (출33:11)

모세는 하나님과 사람이 그 친구와 얼굴을 마주대고 이야기함같이(as a man speaks with his friend) 교제하였습니다. 친구와 이야기하는 것은 어떤 것과 같나요? 나의 절친(best friend)과 그동안 쌓였던 모든 일들을 풀어놓고 허심탄회하게 이야기하면, 그 자체로도 즐겁고, 마음에 위로를 얻고, 그동안의 묵은 일들이 내려가는 듯 할 것입니다. 하나님과 나와의 교제는 어떠한가요(How's my fellowship with God?)? 형식적으로, 빨리 해치우듯이, 습관적으로만 하고 있지는 않나요? 내 최고의 친구(best friend)는 바로 하나님이십니다. 친구이신 그 분에게 내 모든 속상한 일들, 요즘 일어난 일들, 앞으로의 계획, 하고 싶은 이야기들을 다 털어놓읍시다. 하나님은 내게 친밀한(intimate) 친구로 함께 해 주실 것입니다.

예) I feel very comfortable. I can tell him/her everything.

* How's my fellowship with God? Is that intimate?

예) Sometimes intimate, but sometimes I would have fellowship with God out of obligation.

O God, You are my best friend, and You listen to what I say just like friends. I thank You for Your mercy to have friendship with me. Let me share all my joys and sorrows with You. In the name of my Lord Jesus, Amen.
