As Working for the Lord 주님께 하듯이(골로새서 3장 23절)

Today's Verse

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, (Colossians 3:23)

무슨 일을 하든지 마음을 다하여 주께 하듯 하고 사람에게 하듯 하지 말라 (골 3:23)

사람에게 하듯 하는 것은 어떻게 하는 것인가요? 앞 구절에는, 사람들이 나를 지켜볼 때 그들의 환심을 사기 위해서만(not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor) 행하지 말라 하였습니다. 주님께 하듯 하는 것은 어떻게 다른가요? 무슨 일을 하든지!(Whatever you do) 마음을 다해(with all your heart) 주님을 위해 일하는 것처럼(as working for the Lord), 사람에게 하듯 하지 말라(not for men) 하십니다. 무슨 일에든지 우리가 섬기는 분은 주님이십니다(It is the Lord Christ you are serving). 오늘 내가 할 일들은 어떤 것이 있나요? 주님께서 상을 주신다고 하였으니(you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward) 주님의 상을 기대하며 마음을 다하여 최선을 다하여 행합시다.
