If I Spend Myself for Others 다른 이를 위한 삶에 드려질 때(이사야 58장 10절)

영어성경으로 깊고 새로운 묵상을 해 봅시다.

Today's Verse

and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. (Isaiah 58:10)

주린 자에게 네 심정이 동하며 괴로워하는 자의 심정을 만족하게 하면 네 빛이 흑암 중에서 떠올라 네 어둠이 낮과 같이 될 것이며 (사58:10)

어두움 가운데 빛이 된 삶(light in the darkness), 내 어두움이 낮과 같이 빛나게 되는 삶(night becomes like the noonday)을 누구나 원할 것입니다. 그 비결은 내가 나를 위하여 필요를 채우기에 급급한 것이 아닙니다. 바로 주린 자와 괴로워하는 자들의 필요를 채우고 그들을 위해 나의 삶을 보낼 때(if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed) 하나님께서 나의 필요는 놀랍게 채워주시는 것입니다. 내가 다른 사람의 필요를 채우는 삶을 살 때, 나의 필요는 하나님께서 채우십니다. 내 필요만 이것저것 채우기에 바쁘게만 지내도 만족이 없음을 많이 경험합니다. 나에게서 시야를 벗어나 다른 사람들의 필요를--영적 필요를 포함하여--채우는 삶을 살아봅시다. 내 필요는 하나님께서 채워주실 것입니다.

God of love, You showed me Your love by sending Your Son. Just as You dedicated Yourself for me, I want to dedicate my life for others. Allow me love and wisdom to fill others' needs. In Christ's name I pray. Amen.
