Yet 그러나(하박국 3장18절)

영어성경으로 깊고 새로운 묵상을 해 봅시다.

Today's Verse

yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. (Habakkuk 3:18)

나는 여호와로 말미암아 즐거워하며 나의 구원의 하나님으로 말미암아 기뻐하리로다 (합3:18)

이 구절에서 눈여겨 볼 부분은 'yet'이 아닐까 싶습니다. 바로 앞 구절에서는 열매와 소출이 없는 삶을 묘사합니다. 무화과나무(fig tree)는 싹이 나지도 않습니다(does not bud). 포도나무에는 포도가 없습니다(there are no grapes on the vines). 올리브나무는 소출이 없고 밭에 식물도 없고(the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food), 우리와 외양간에는 양과 소가 없다니요(no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls).

그러나('Yet') 우리가 기뻐할 수 있는 근거와 이유는 무엇입니까? 내가 기뻐하고 즐거워할 수 있는 것은 오직 여호와 나의 구세주 되신 하나님 때문입니다(yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior). 내가 기쁨의 근원으로 두던 것은 무엇인가요? 오늘, 다른 것 때문이 아니라 오직 우리 주 하나님을 인하여 기뻐하고 즐거워해 봅시다.

Thank you, Father. Thank You that Your Son went through all the pain of the cross to save me. Thank You that You love me and know me. Help me to be joyful in You more and more. In Jesus' name, Amen.
