God's Plan 하나님의 계획(예레미야 29장11절)

영어성경으로 깊고 새로운 묵상을 해 봅시다.

Today's Verse

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

여호와의 말씀이니라 너희를 향한 나의 생각을 내가 아나니 평안이요 재앙이 아니니라 너희에게 미래와 희망을 주는 것이니라 (렘 29:11)

장래에 대한 두려움이 곧잘 생깁니다. 교통사고(car accident), 심각한 질병(fatal disease), 전쟁(war)등등.. 불확실한 장래(uncertain future)에 대한 두려움과 염려는 하다보면 끝이 없습니다.

하나님은 어떤 분이신가요? 만유를 지으신 하나님의 나를 향한 생각은 나를 해하려 하거나 재앙을 주는 것이 아니요(not to harm you), 나를 번영케 하며 내게 희망과 미래를 주려 하는 계획입니다(plans to prosper you, plans to give you hope and a future). 잠깐의 고난과 환란은 있을 수 있으나, 궁극적인 하나님의 관심은 어려움을 통해서도 내게 선이 되게 하려 하십니다. 하나님의 내게 대한 생각을 자주 묵상하면서 하나님의 크신 은혜를 더욱 기대해 봅시다.

Most loving God, please help me when I am afraid. Guide me by Your word to walk with You. Give me courage to carry on and strength to go step by step believing Your best plan for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
