Thanks in Everything 모든 일에 감사를(데살로니가후서 5장 18절)

범사에 감사하라 이것이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라 (살후 5:18)

Give thanks in all circumstances, 모~든 상황들에서 감사하라고 합니다. No matter what happens 무슨 일이 일어나든지 간에, always be thankful! 항상 감사하라 하십니다. 누가 봐도 감사할 만한 일에 감사하는 것은 믿지 않는 자들도 할 수 있습니다. 내게 일어난 모든 일들--시험에 불합격, 실수한 것들, 잃어버린 것, 속상한 일들, 사람들과의 오해,...--이 반갑지 않은 일들에 대해서도 항상 감사하는 것이 예수 그리스도에게 속한 우리를 향하신 하나님의 뜻(God's will for you in Christ Jesus)이라 하십니다. 하나님께서는 내가 감당할 만하므로 허락하셨으며, 나쁜 의도도 선으로 바꾸실 수 있는 분이시기 때문입니다. 오늘 내게 향한 하나님의 뜻은 바로 지금(right now), 내가 불평(grumble)하고 속상해 하고 아쉽게 생각하는 그것들에 대해 감사하는 것입니다. 내게 허락하신 모든 일들에 대해 감사하는 시간을 가져봅시다.

Prayer

예) Lord God, I knew that I had to give thanks in everything, but that was not easy for me. When the things I don't really want happened, I grumbled a lot. Now I want to give thanks for all things which you allow. Let me be grateful no matter what happens. In Jesus' name, Amen.
