Don't worry about tomorrow 내일 일을 염려 말라 (마태복음 6장 34절)

Today's Verse

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34)

그러므로 내일 일을 위하여 염려하지 말라 내일 일은 내일이 염려할 것이요 한 날의 괴로움은 그 날로 족하니라 (마6:34)

아직 일어나지도 않은 장래 일에 대하여 미리 염려하고 걱정하느라고 정작 오늘 내가 해야 할 일을 못하는 경우가 많습니다. 말씀에서는 내일 일에 대하여 염려하지 말라고(do not worry about tomorrow) 합니다. 지금 내가 신경 쓰고 해야 할 것들만으로도 하루하루가 충분하며(Each day has enough trouble of its own) 장래일은 그때 하나님께서 도와주실 것입니다. 일어날 지 일어나지 않을 지도 모르는 일(What may or may not happen tomorrow)에 대해서는 하나님께 맡기고 지금 주어진 일에 드려집시다.

* Do I worry about the things which may or may not happen in the future?

예) Yes, I often worry about the future which I do not know. I'm worried about where I would work or what would happen in a few years.

* What does the Lord tell me about it?

예) Do not worry about tomorrow. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings.

What can I apply?

예) Give my entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow.

* Write down your own determination.

Do not worry about ____________________, for God will help me deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. (~에 대해 염려말아라. 하나님이 어떤 어려움이 내게 닥치든 이길 힘을 주실 것이다.)

Lord, I confess that I often got worried about the future. You will be with me through all my life. Let me just follow You day by day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
