Everlasting Words 영원한 말씀(마가복음 13장31절)

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. (Mark 13:31)(World English Bible)

pass away: 사라지다

Sky and earth will wear out; my words won't wear out. (The Message)

wear out: 해어지다, 없어지다.

대학 졸업 후 대학원을 다니면서 조교로 근무할 때 학부생들의 수업자료를 복사하는데, 바로 1년 전에 열심히 공부하였던 전공 이론들이 바뀐 것을 보고 허탈한 마음이 들었습니다. 절대 진리인 것처럼 익히고 공부하였는데, 세상 이론들은 1년만에도 허점이 드러나고 바뀌는 것을 볼 수 있었습니다. 그러던 중 조교실에서 제가 대학 1학년 때 교실에서 잃어버렸던 암송카드를 발견하였는데, 언제나 변치 않는 진리인 하나님의 말씀에 다시 한번 감사하게 되었습니다. 주님이 오실 때 이 세상에 남아있는 가치 있는 것은 어떤 것이 있을까요? 내가 모은 돈, 지위, 집, 사람들의 인정일까요? 세상의 것들은 금방 변하고 없어지는 신뢰할 수 없는 것들이지만, 암송한 성경구절들은 평생 내 삶에 지표가 되고 있습니다. 이 말씀에 열심히 나의 시간과 관심을 투자하며, 읽기, 듣기, 암송하기 등에 힘써야 하겠습니다.

천지는 없어지겠으나 내 말은 없어지지 아니하리라 (막 13:31)

Paraphrase the word in my own word (말씀을 풀어쓰기)

(예) Everything on the earth will go away, but the word of God lasts forever.

Write down the things which will pass away when Jesus comes. (예수님께서 오실 때 사라질 것들을 적어 봅시다.)

What can I apply? (어떤 것을 적용할 수 있을까요?)

(예) I will make a plan for Bible reading. I want to read at least 3 chapters a day.

Prayer

(예) Heaven and earth will pass away in the end. Your word lasts forever more. Lord, let me seek for Your word more sincerely. I delight myself in You and Your word. Give me the faith to receive Your word, the understanding to know what it means, and the courage to put it into practice in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
