The Lord Heard my Cry 내 간구를 들으신 하나님

The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer.

여호와께서 내 간구를 들으셨음이여 여호와께서 내 기도를 받으시리로다 (6:9)

9절 말씀은 평범해 보이지만 6편의 상황은 참으로 절박합니다. 내가 수척하였으며(I am faint, 2절) 나의 뼈가 고통에 떨리고(my bones are in agony) 영혼도 괴로워합니다(My soul is in anguish). 얼마나 오래, 도대체 어느때까지니까 하고 울부짖습니다(How long, O LORD, how long?) 신음함으로 나는 기진맥진할 지경입니다(I am worn out from groaning). 밤 내내 나의 울음으로 내 잠자리는 눈물바다를 이루었으며(all night long I flood my bed with weeping) 나의 침상은 내 눈물로 흠뻑 젖습니다(drench my couch with tears).

우리의 고난에 대해 어찌 이리 잘 표현하고 있는지, 참으로 마음이 동합니다. 하지만 이 끔찍한 고통은 하나님께서 나의 간구를 들으셨다는 내용으로 마무리됩니다. 나의 할 일은 내 기도를 들으시는 하나님께 구하는 것뿐입니다. 그 하나님께 괴로움을 아뢰고 구하여 응답을 경험합시다.

Father, thank You that You will answer when I pray. Many people in the world wish for something, but they do not know the privilege of prayer. I am the one who can ask to my Father in heaven. Please increase my weak faith and help me in my prayers. In Jesus' name. Amen.
